This policy governs all cancellations, returns, and refund requests for physical items ordered through our digital store.
2. Pre-Shipping Cancellation Window
- Instant Cancellation: You can cancel any order for printed textbooks at no cost, provided your request is submitted before the package leaves our warehouse facility.
- How to Cancel: If you need to cancel an order before it ships, please email us immediately at thiruvalluvarpublications1970@gmail.com or contact our support line with your order number.
- Post-Dispatch: Once a courier tracking link has been generated and your books have been handed over to our logistics partners, the order cannot be canceled mid-transit and will fall under our standard post-delivery rules.
3. Strict 24-Hour Post-Delivery Return & Cancellation Window
- Post-Delivery Rule: Once your package is successfully marked as delivered by our courier partners, any request for a standard product return or order cancellation must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery.
- Original Condition Mandate: To be eligible for a cancellation or return, the book must be sent back to us completely unused, unmarked, clean, and remain in its original pristine condition.
- Return Shipping Liability: The buyer is solely liable to pay all return shipping and courier charges required to transport the book back to our warehouse facility.
- Late Requests: Any return requests submitted after this strict 24-hour period has expired will be automatically declined.
4. Transit Damage & Misprint Rules (48-Hour Notification Window)
- Reporting Defective Items: If a book arrives with severe transit damage, a broken spine, or structural misprints (such as missing pages), you are fully entitled to a free replacement copy or a full refund.
- Required Notification Channel: You must report any transit damage or manufacturing defects within 48 hours of delivery strictly via email to: thiruvalluvarpublications1970@gmail.com.
- Verification Requirement: Please include your original order reference number and attach clear photographs of the damaged parcel or misprinted pages in your email so our warehouse team can verify the issue immediately.
5. Refund Processing Timelines
- Approval Notice: Once an eligible return or damaged shipment is verified and officially accepted by our administrative desk, a financial credit will be processed back to your original payment method (UPI, NetBanking, or Card).
- Standard Timeline: Financial credits will reflect within your personal bank statement or wallet within 5 to 7 operational working days, adhering strictly to standard local banking network protocols.
